The Transition

We had 5 balls left, and 13 runs to win! There was this 10th std kid bowling, and a 4th std kid batting. It was the sound of the crushed plastic ball hitting the incredibly small cricket bat! It went for a six! The kid, hit another six and a single to win the match! The 4th std kid was me. It was a proud moment in my life! There was this way too much older guy called Babu cheering for me. I asked him a million times, how I did in the match. The play area looked big. I cleared the boundary line by a lot of distance. I jumber from the 7th step, and sprained my feet. And, 7th step was way too high for me.

Today, after 13 years, I visited that place where I experienced my 1st moment of glory. The place has shrunk. One of the aunties recognised me and expressed how much i have changed over the years. Every corner of the place, seemed to be smalled than ever. Realisation struck! I had grown, both vertically and horizontally(Mostly horizontally)and of course mentally. The transition always occur in our lives. We realise it only when we see it actually happening! It always looks like, things are always the same, same mom , same idlys, same routine, etc. So many things have changed periodically!

P.S.I was listening to music, and I could perfectly, related the piano to the way my colleague was typing on the keyboard. Incredible coincidence? Naah! Just the way I saw it!

The Return

First up, Apologies for not posting for a long time! No, Im not busy at all! I just dont have an internet connection! But, life is super good could just be an understatement! Life is super good! Eventhough training ended successfully, and we got our computers, going to an office which is barely 3 kms from home and not doing work is seriously fun! And, otherwise, 3 guys living together, in a single bedroom apartment, cooking(making dosa) every night, with no ego what-so-ever is good!

Next, the 1st salary! I`ve earned before! I got Rs20 for the 4th prize in pattern detection competition, when I was in 8th std! Mom, still keeps that 20bucks as my 1st earned money! But, what I get now is different! Every single penny I spend, Guilt-trips me that, I havent done anything to my parents with the 1st salary! And, its already time for my 2nd salary!

Driving in banglore is great! Yeah! Thats is kind of awkward! No sane human would actually say that! Its been 3 months since i drove in the rain untill last week! It was the best thing that had happened in the recent past, for 2 reasons! My bike got washed and I thoroughly enjoy every minute of that ride! I used to wear glasses and it really used to be annoying when I drive in the rain! But, now is great! And with the constant cold wind and water hitting your body, the body gets numb and it is kind of good!

Its been a month since i posted and still I dont have anything to write about! Damn!

Tagged again! And yeah Reni You got me this time! Atleast, this is something than not writing anything! Anyways, I am supposed to write 7 interesting things about me!

• I had lied a lot to my mother, since my childhood! I had got caught so many times, that, mom thinks I got caught every single time i lied(you know what i mean!).
• I am stubborn as hell. I never get tensed at any occasion and I face problems and not run from it. There is a catch! I do have soft corner when I watch some real good movies! I cried for Anbe Sivam, forest gump, its a wonderful life, Cinderella Man, etc.
• I love riding the bike in the rain! Eventhough I sulk about it a lot!
• I have a problem with my computer hardware, on an average of once in 2 months!
• I trust people so easily! Some do take advantage of it! But, I dont care!
• Im addicted to coffee! A wiseman once said, caffine is like nicotine!
  

• I can crack PJs* so bad, that he person who sits in front of me, can actually pull his hair out in agoony.

Thats that! Had to think hard!
